I’m a freelance web developer that has been working in the industry for over 15 years. I studied at Waikato University in New Zealand, and completed by BSc, majoring in Computer Science, in 2011.
I started freelancing shortly after my son started primary school in 2012, and found that it allowed me the flexibility to provide him with the support he needed, and not miss out on those important moments, while still working in an industry I love.
As well, freelancing allows me to connect directly with my clients on a more personal level that working for an agency didn’t allow.
My family consists of my neurodiverse son, who has now entered high-school, two cats, and a varied amount of fish, along with our plant-babies.
When I’m not building sites, I’m a wee bit of a geek, and enjoy board games, reading, and delving into learning more about a whole range of science topics.
